Our Volunteers
In 2009-2010, 569 VTF volunteers contributed 29,874 hours of service to our community. They helped with gardening, home maintenance, shopping, social support, games and outings, Meals on Wheels and office administration.
Volunteers come from all areas of the community. They volunteer for a realm of reasons:
- community involvement
- social interaction
- to make a meaningful contribution
- to develop their experience
- to give something back to their community
- to learn about their new community
