Home Maintenance

Our Volunteer Task Force (VTF) home maintenance service helps clients to remain safe and secure in their own homes. Our staff can:

• change light bulbs
• check security
• carry out minor carpentry and repairs
• install smoke alarms
• replace small items like door locks, tiles.

Our paid Home Maintenance officer provides the services, sometimes assisted by a volunteer. There may be a waiting time for non-urgent work in some areas.

Are you eligible?

All new clients are assessed for eligibility. VTF Services are available to people with an ongoing medical condition or disability who are on a pension and living in their own home.
